A practice canvas painted in oil from a Life model. I’m really happy with the face but I got sloppy doing the body and didn’t get the shapes/scales right. I feel like I’m getting closer to the loose painterly feel style.

Two more canvas paper pieces. Practicing again, these are both from live models. The main aim is tying to get used to using medium, thickening the paint strokes for a less sketchy result. Still not quite got the hang of it. Next post will be my first canvas 🙂
